Empowering the Future of Padel in Canada

The National Programming and Development Fund (NPDF) is committed to fostering the growth of padel across Canada by supporting grassroots initiatives, enhancing coaching programs, and improving accessibility for all. Through our bi-annual grant program, we aim to empower clubs, organizations, and leaders in the padel community to unlock opportunities, develop new programs, and make a lasting impact.  

If you have a vision for growing padel in your community, the NPDF grant program is here to help make it a reality.  

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure that funds are awarded to initiatives that align with the mission of the NPDF, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:  

• Be a Canadian-based club, organization, or community group involved in padel.  
• Have a project or program supporting at least one of these goals:

• • Increasing participation in padel through grassroots development.  
  • Supporting training or certification of coaches.  
  • Enhancing accessibility for underrepresented or marginalized groups to participate in padel.  

• Demonstrate measurable outcomes and a clear implementation plan.  
• Agree to provide updates on your project and its impact following funding.  

Note: Applicants may be asked to provide additional documentation to verify eligibility.  

Application Process

Applications for NPDF grants can be submitted at any time throughout the year. However, only those submitted before the posted deadlines will be considered for that cycle.  

Follow these steps to submit your application:   

• Complete Your Proposal

   Submit a detailed proposal that includes:

• • A clear description of your project or initiative.  
  • Goals and expected impact.  
  • Budget breakdown and funding requirements.  
  • Timeline for implementation.  

• Submit Your Application

   Email your completed application and any necessary supporting documents to [email protected].  

• Review and Selection

   All applications are reviewed and winners are selected by the NPDF committee. Decisions will be communicated within 6 weeks of each deadline, and funds will be granted within 10 weeks.  

NPDF grants are awarded twice a year. Don’t miss your chance to apply!  

• Spring Deadline: January 30  
• Fall Deadline: June 30  

Ensure your application is submitted before the deadline for consideration in the current cycle. Late submissions will be deferred to the next cycle.
